Our Philosophy

We're not a bootcamp. We don't give certificates or credits. We're simply a place for those who enjoy learning, solving puzzles, and building things. But wait! Aren't there plenty of free resources for this on the internet? Why yes, there sure are. And these can be great.
It's our belief though that learning in the physical world, with real life human beings can be effective too. And fun! Through a shared interest in building new skills, we meet and connect with others, make discoveries beyond the lesson plan, and feel a part of a community and a profession.

A place for kids

It's an exciting time to be a kid, but also a challenging one. Information, friends, and entertainment are all just a tap away. But the more our children engage with the screen-based attractions, the less they engage with each other in a meaningful, embodied way.

Our classes are designed to teach programming skills that will be rewarding and useful in their later lives, but also to get them together to interact, laugh, and learn from each other.

Come Teach!

Whether you know a lot about a topic in coding - or just want a reason to learn something more deeply - come teach! Our mission is simply to get people together to learn, build, and explore, and hopefully, in the process, to grow a community of programmers committed to improving their craft. If this sounds like your kind of thing, we'd love for you to come share your knowledge and interest with others! Learn more
